One of the things I love most about planning weddings on Oahu is that there is no single way to do it. You can bring everyone together for an entire weekend, blend cultures and traditions, plan something completely outside the box, or keep things intimate and centered around an incredible meal and the people you love most. Oahu gives us so much to work with, from beautiful resorts and private estates to tucked-away spaces and unexpected venues. My job is to help you figure out what actually feels right for you, then bring together the right people, places, details, and logistics to make it happen.
Most of my couples are destination brides and grooms, which means we are never simply planning a wedding. We are creating an experience for you and the loved ones who are traveling to Oahu to celebrate alongside you.
From where everyone stays and how they spend their time on the island to welcome gatherings, intimate dinners, cultural traditions, and the wedding itself, every piece contributes to the experience.
Oahu is particularly special for destination weddings because it offers an incredible range of settings, accommodations, dining, and experiences, allowing us to create a weekend that feels distinctly yours while giving your guests a meaningful opportunity to experience Hawaii.
The result is more than a beautiful wedding day. It is a collection of experiences and memories shared with the people who matter most.
Oahu offers an incredible range of wedding venues, and no two provide quite the same experience. From iconic resorts in Waikiki to the lush landscapes of Windward Oahu, private estates, botanical settings, and expansive North Shore properties, the right venue can completely shape the way your wedding looks, feels, and flows.
While many venues and wedding companies offer flat rate packages built around a predetermined format, our approach is intentionally different. One of our specialties is taking the time to truly get to know you, your guest list, your priorities, and what you want the experience to feel like before pointing you toward a venue.
We consider everything from location and accommodations to cultural traditions, accessibility, guest comfort, design possibilities, and the overall flow of your celebration. Rather than fitting your wedding into a cookie cutter package, we help you find the Oahu wedding venue that gives us the freedom to create something that genuinely fits you.
Wedding weekends are truly one of our specialties, with nearly 75% of the weddings we plan unfolding over multiple days. I love the pace a wedding weekend allows and the sense of camaraderie that naturally develops when everyone has more than just a few hours together.
Two different groups of loved ones arrive, often from different places, cultures, and chapters of your lives, and by the end of the weekend, they leave feeling like one much closer group.
Whether that means a welcome dinner, cultural ceremonies, the wedding day itself, a farewell brunch, or experiences around the island, we look at the weekend as a whole rather than a collection of separate events.
From transportation and timing to guest experiences and the flow from one celebration to the next, we create a weekend that gives you the space to actually enjoy this rare moment when so many of the people you love are together in one place.

Hawaii wedding planning
Multicultural weddings have always been a natural part of what we do, with nearly 90% of our celebrations bringing together different cultures, backgrounds, and traditions.
We love finding meaningful ways to blend the elements that matter most to each of you, whether that means multiple ceremonies, distinct traditions, incredible food, music, attire, or entirely different events throughout the wedding weekend.
There is no formula for how two cultures should come together, and we do not believe there should be. We take the time to understand what is meaningful to you and your loved ones, then help create a celebration where each tradition has its place while the wedding as a whole still feels completely and uniquely yours.

With Partial Planning, you have already done some of that work, and we step in to bring greater organization, expertise, and support to what you have started.
Whichever level of planning you choose, our goal is the same: by the time you arrive on Oahu, you should not feel like the person responsible for holding everything together. You should be able to be present, enjoy the loved ones who traveled to celebrate with you, and experience the wedding we have spent so much time creating together.
One of my favorite parts of the planning process is helping couples discover the Oahu wedding venues they may never have found on their own.
The island has an incredible mix of oceanfront resorts, private estates, historic spaces, botanical settings, ranches, and completely unexpected locations, and I am constantly exploring new possibilities for my clients.
After years of planning weddings on Oahu, I have learned that the “best” venue is rarely the same for two couples. Guest count, budget, location, accessibility, weather, cultural traditions, accommodations, and the overall experience you want to create all play a role.
Our job is to help you look beyond the photos and understand how a venue will actually work for your wedding.
