Monique and Sanjai wanted a wedding celebration that was vibrant, fun and full of personality.
We loved planning and designing this gloriously mod wedding full of color, personal touches and homages to their cultures and loved ones.
Monique and Sanjai treated their guests to a mid-century filled feast for the eyes at their TWA Hotel wedding weekend. On Friday the guests were welcomed to a cocktail party full of classic cocktails, traditional Indian cuisine, and henna for the guests. On the second day, guests were treated to a champagne brunch followed by lounging beside the rooftop pool. Afternoon tea and sumptuous snacks welcomed guests as they gathered for the baraat-- a celebratory wedding procession for the groom involving live music and dancing which led into the ceremony under the custom-made mirrored mandap. After some outfit changes, the couple surprised their guests with an entrance and first dance by an award winning gospel choir which set the stage for an amazing fun-filled evening that ended with an after party aboard the Connie Cocktail Lounge, a vintage decommissioned airplane. The weekend ended with a final champagne brunch and send-off for the newlyweds.
